Firearms — xAI Description Grok draft from your record Optional - on the Description bar. Sends manufacturer, model, and serial to xAI (Grok) and copies a draft to the clipboard: what it is, where it was made, a manufacture window, and a used-value range. Click in Description and press Ctrl+V. You confirm before anything leaves the PC. Not an appraisal — verify before you Save. Requires your xAI API key.
Firearms — Recall / Safety Bulletin Grok lookup, current or all guns Optional report. Sends manufacturer, model, and caliber to xAI (Grok) with web search against maker recall pages. Serial numbers stay on this PC unless you choose Yes. You get a local inventory table plus draft rows: title, issued date, published serial range, summary, official link, status (recall / bulletin / none found), and whether a sent serial appears to match. Current firearm or all active firearms. Confirm before anything leaves the PC. Not conclusive — open the maker link and match serials yourself. Requires your xAI API key.
Ammo — xAI Fill Read the box from the preview photo Optional - Uses the box photo already in Images/Preview. Grok proposes manufacturer, caliber, grain, bullet type, and an inventory description. You see a plain-English summary and choose whether to write it to the form. Quantity = boxes × carton count only when both are known — it will not guess a round count that is not on the photo. Requires your xAI API key.
Bring your own Grok key Optional — you pay xAI, not us Paste an xAI API key on Settings → System. That is the console key from console.x.ai, not a Grok.com or SuperGrok chat login. Leave it blank and Ready Center stays fully offline. A typical firearm note or box photo is a small API charge; a few dollars of credit is enough to try a collection. No key is ever required to inventory guns, ammo, food, or documents.
